April 26, 2000 By admin

Mental Health experts are raising concerns about the crowded conditions at the Scott County Jail.Officials says anywhere from 10 to 60-percent of the prisoners in the jail have some type of mental illness. The Scott County Chapter of the Alliance for the Mentally Ill is worried prisoners with a mental illness will not be kept away from others, and get proper treatment, due to the crowded conditions.
