Cyclones still fighting for post season play

The Iowa State Cyclones take their slim playoff hopes on the road to Oklahoma State for the three-game Big-12 series beginning Friday. Cyclone coach Lyle Smith says the Cowboys are still a solid team but are having a down year by their standards. They’re 9-12 in the league and he says their fans aren’t used to being a non-contender.Smith says the Cowboys are still tough at home and it will be a difficult task. Smith says his team needs to win a couple of games to have a chance at the post-season tournament
