Korean vets to be remembered on 50th anniversary

Iowans who are veterans of the Korean War are being encouraged to call the office of their U-S Representative. Congressman Tom Latham says those veterans are due special recognition. He says they’re arranging a medal that is a token of remembrance from the country to thank them for their service.Latham says the medals will be presented at a ceremony that’ll be scheduled for this summer. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the start of the Korean War.
