Drake inks top player

Drake basketball coach Kurt Kanaskie has rounded out his recruiting class by signing 6-3 guard Aaron Knight from St. Catharine Junior College in Kentucky. The Louisville native averaged just over 20 points and four assists but had his season cut short by an injury. But Kanaskie says Knight should come back strong and be a good player for the Bulldogs.Kanaskie says they feel fortunate to sign Knight because several schools from bigger conferences starting recruiting him late in the process.
