Three charged in Davenport after three-year old shoots himself

May 9, 2000 By admin

A three-year-old Davenport boy is in the hospital this morning after shooting himself in the leg Monday. Police say two three-year-olds were playing in an apartment and found a loaded 22-caliber handgun. One boy apparently shot himself in the calf. Three people are charged with child endangerment, including two 17-year-old babysitters. The boy’s mother was out of town.
