May 15, 2000 By admin

Iowa’s democrat Governor says the Republican party’s likely presidential nominee isn’t following through on his promise to keep Iowa’s Caucuses number one. Vilsack is urging republicans go call George W. Bush to urge him to push for Iowa’s lead position in the presidential selection process.Vilsack attended the democratic committee meeting in which democrats voted to retain the current system of nominating a president. He says it’s important for the state and the country that Iowa stay first.Vilsack says Vice President Al Gore has delivered on his promise to keep Iowa first.
