The Iowa softball team is the second seed in an N-C-A-A regional in Los Angeles beginning Thursday. The Hawkeyes will play Bethune-Cookman in the opening round. Defending national champion U-C-L-A is the top seed in the regional and Iowa coach Gayle Blevins says this is when a difficult pre-conference schedule should payoff for her team.Blevins says a regional tournament is very similar to the Big Ten tournament Iowa hosted last weekend.Blevins says without a doubt, U-C-L-A is the favorite.
