Upper Iowa names new football coach

Upper Iowa has named Craig Johnston the school’s new head football coach. He replaces Paul Rudolph, who resigned last week to become the offensive coordinator at St. Cloud State of Minnesota. Johnston has been an assistant coach the last nine seasons and spent the past seven as defensive coordinator. Johnston says he hopes to continue the progress the program has made over the past ten years.Johnston says having an experienced staff around him will make the transition easier.
