The chairman of the Iowa Republican Party was in Charlotte, North Carolina, this weekend, leading the “Second Amendment Celebration” staged by the National Rifle Association. Iowa G-O-P leader Kayne Robinson is first vice president of the gun rights group. Robinson said the Clinton/Gore Administration’s goal is to take guns away from law-abiding Americans. The N-R-A has about three-and-a-half million members.
