The family of student who attends Underwood High School in western Iowa is suing the school district and a wrestling coach. The suit claims 16-year-old Nathan Roan was ignored for a half-hour after being injured during a wrestling match in January. Roan got sick after the match, vomitted, and was carried to the locker room where he slipped in and out of consciousness. He was put in the hospital for a ruptured spleen and internal bleeding. The suit claims the school and coach were neglegent and reckless and it seeks an unspecified amount of damages.
