Iowa City man faces indecent contact charges

May 25, 2000 By admin

An Iowa City man faces charges of indecent contact with six- and seven-year- old girls. 29-year-old Dominic Fillmer appeared in court yesterday. Iowa City police officer Rick Wyss says the first incident took place three years ago. He says they had insufficient evidence to prosecute Fillmer at that time.Court records show Fillmer forced some girls to perform bizarre sex acts and that he fondled and exposed himself to one of the girls. Wyss says Fillmer knew the girls. He says the victims were friends of his daughter who had been invited to Fillmer’s home.Fillmer is in the Johnson County Jail and if he makes bail, he’s been ordered to have no contact with the girls.
