10-year old in trouble for playing with gun

A 10-year-old from eastern Iowa’s in big trouble for breaking into his dad’s gun cabinet. Police say 10-year-old Brian Trumbauer of Jesup took a pistol out of his father’s locked gun cabinet on April 30th and shot a friend who was playing at his house. Trumbauer faces charges of terrorism, assault with a dangerous weapon, going armed with intent and reckless use of a firearm. He’ll appear in court June 12th. Eight-year-old Benjamin Trumbauer underwent surgery at University Hospitals in Iowa City and is now recovering at home.
