Waterloo police investigate shooting

Waterloo police are searching for suspects after at least three people were shot in an apparent failed robbery attempt last night. The incident happened at an auto detailing business called “Wildside Creationz.” Denny Miller lives nearby in what he says is usually a quiet community.Michelle Larson is president of the Cedar River Neighborhood Association. She says the neighborhood where the shootings occurred had a crime problem in 1996, but little trouble since then.Witnesses heard shots from inside the car shop, then saw a car speed away. Other suspects were seen running away and some of them may also have been shot. The names and conditions of the injured have not been released.
