Boswell wants more spent on veteran’s health care

May 29, 2000 By admin

As we remember those who’ve died on this Memorial Day, Iowa Congressman Leonard Boswell says it’s time to do more for living veterans. Boswell says the U-S isn’t spending enough money to see that veterans get proper medical attention. Boswell, a democrat from Davis City, has co-sponsored legislation to increase the funding for veteran’s medical care.He says it’s only fair that America honor its promise to veterans.Boswell served 20 years in the army, including two years of duty in Vietnam.
