A 72-year-old rural Cedar Falls woman has died from injuries received when tornadoes ripped through northern Black Hawk County earlier this month. Marilyn Whitesell had been trapped in her home which collapsed in the twister. Whitesell died Sunday evening of complications from the injuries she received in the storm.
