NCAA experience boosts Wartburg baseball

The Wartburg College baseball team ended its most successful season in school history at the Division three World Series in Appleton, Wisconsin on Sunday. The Knights were knocked out of the tournament by eventual national champion Montclair State of New Jersey. Wartburg coach Joel Holst says an appearance in the series was a perfect way for the seniors to go out.Holst says this season will help the program on the recruiting trail across the state of Iowa.Holst says while the program has momentum, the expectations are much higher these days.
