The national conference is called “Things that Matter in the Lives of Children: The World of the Child.”Reverend Ramona Bouzard is an organizer of the conference and is director of church relations at Wartburg. She says the meeting is drawing people to Waverly who work in a wide array of professions.Attendees will include parents, church staff, daycare providers, teachers, school administrators and others. Bouzard says most of them will be from the Midwest, but others will be making a much longer trek. The conference runs today and tomorrow.
