Sioux City North baseball player Cory Peck tied an all-time national record last Saturday with five home runs in a single game. Peck turned the trick in a 19-6 victory over Sioux Central at Spencer.North coach Kelly Neustrom called it one of the most amazing things he’s seen.Neustrom says Peck is not known as a home run hitter, he didn’t hit any last year and had only hit two in his varsity career. In his next game, Peck hit a solo homer in his first at-bat, giving him home runs in six straight at-bats.
