Gas prices have once again shot to record highs, but Congressman Leonard Boswell doesn’t expect the U-S government to tap strategic oil reserves anytime soon to give some relief.Boswell, a democrat from Davis City, says there needs to be an alternative to decrease the dependence on foreign oil. He says he’ll keep pushing to highlight the need for renewable fuels.Boswell doesn’t think the latest surge in prices will continue for very long.Prices have jumped as much as a dime a gallon in the last couple of days.
