The Northwestern College football team is back from a two-week trip to the Czech Republic and the Ukraine that coach Orv Otten says served two purposes. One: the trip gave Northwestern a chance to play a couple of exhibition games. Otten says more importantly, though, it served as a Christian outreach, which is the mission of the college.Otten says the trip was very educational for the players. He says living in home sin the Ukraine and experiencing the culture is something you can’t know until you go there.Otten says with NFL-Europe, the American game is getting more exposure on the continent.Otten says says the games and practice experience will help the team this fall and the players got a chance to even conduct some clinics.
