Search for anchorwoman hits five years

June 27, 2000 By admin

It’s been five years since a Mason City television anchorwoman disappeared.Jodi Huisentruit failed to show up for her anchor shift at K-I-M-T T-V on June 27th, 1995. She was last heard from at four a.m. that day. She had a phone conversation with a colleague at the t-v station, and said she was on her way to work. A hairdryer, hair spray, car keys and earrings were found scattered around her car which was parked outside her Mason City apartment. A special agent is still assigned to the case, sifting through leads, searching for a break in the case.
