The Northern Iowa football team will enter the upcoming season with lofty expectations. The Panthers are ranked as high as fourth nationally in One-double-A in the pre-season publications but coach Mike Dunbar doesn’t feel his team will be the favorite in the Gateway Conference race.Dunbar says the expectations do tend to motivate players during their summer workouts.U-N-I opens the season at home August 31st against Morningside.
