New Drake AD focuses on Relays Director

New Drake athletic director Dave Blank says one of his first chores will be to find a new director for the Drake Relays. Long-time director Bob Erhart retired and will stay on for one more year as a consultant. Drake President Dr. David Maxwell says there has already been plenty of interest in the job.Maxwell says the initial search is already underway.Blank says it will be up to him to bring the search to a conclusion.Blank says Erhart will be tough to follow for whoever the new director is.Blank says he is fully aware of how important the relays are to Drake, as they give the University nationwide recognition.
