Website lets you spout off about gas prices

July 5, 2000 By admin

A new website provides an outlet for your complaints or concerns about high gasoline prices. The website, MadAboutGas.com, was started by the National Corngrowers Association. Edith Munro is a spokesperson for the Iowa Corngrowers Association. Monro says the website began as a way to defend corn-based ethanol against oil company attacks. She says they decided to make the website a place where people could let their feelings be known. You can send a message from the site to President Clinton or the Federal Trade Commission. There is also a chat room where you can discuss gas woes with others. You can access the website at: www.MadAboutGas.com.
