Hundreds of go-kart racers from across the U-S are in north-central Iowa for the International Karting Federation Nationals. Tony Nessa, manager of the Nessa Brothers Speedway in Webster City, says yesterday’s heavy rain caused a big delay and a nearly sleepless night.Kart racers are in Webster City from Iowa and 34 other states. Nessa says officials with the I-K-F and the racers are very pleased with the location.The races continue through Friday. Admission is free. This is the third time the Nessa Speedway has hosted the national event. It’ll be in Texas in 2001.
