Underwood’s community center gets too hot

A fire last night gutted the focal point of a town in western Iowa’s Pottawattamie County. The “UMBA” Hall in Underwood burned, bringing in nine fire departments. It had been the location for a variety of community functions, parties and dinners. The fire may have been caused by an electrical short.
