Domestic dispute leads to fatal stabbing

Sioux City recorded its first murder of the year yesterday afternoon. Police say a woman was stabbed to death at her home. She’s identified as 43-year-old Chung Thi Le. Police have arrested a suspect, 47-year-old Thuyet Van Nguyen.Sioux City police lieutenant Terry Kern says the suspect and the victim had been boyfriend and girlfriend. He thinks a dispute may’ve led to the stabbing.Nguyen is charged with first-degree murder.
