Racing tour raises money for good cause

A special tour is racing across Iowa and raising money for the National Kidney Foundation in the process. The “Heartland Tour for the Cure” features dirt-track hobby stock racing and is visiting the Stuart Speedway tonight. Spokesman Jay Broeg says they’re in the midst of 40 stops.Broeg says they’ve had some good success so far, averaging about 350 dollars each night.The tour stops at the Crawford County Speedway in Denison July 19th and the Buena Vista County Fair at Alta on July 20th.
