Des Moines police investigate double murder

Two men are jailed in a double-killing in Des Moines. Des Moines police say a fight broke out about two this morning outside the El Paso bar. Three men were stabbed. Two of them died. The third is in the hospital. The names of the victims haven’t been released yet pending positive identification and notification of kin. Police have named the two men they’ve taken into custody: 25-year-old Cruz Guerrero is charged with first-degree murder, while 22-year-old Jose Pichardo is charged with murder and attempted murder.
