Tom Coates, with Consumer Credit Counseling in Des Moines, says many people will rack up credit card debt by gambling online, without even realizing it.Coates says the average American has about ten credit cards, which increases the amount they can gamble on the internet.Coates says some credit card companies are even taking action against Internet gambling, because of the increasing amount of debt.Monday, the U-S House voted down a bill that would have banned gambling on the Internet.
