Commission paves the way for expansion of HWY 151

The Iowa Transportation Commission has approved the expansion of a portion of Highway 151 between Cascade and Dubuque.Iowa Department of Transportation spokesperson Dena Gray-Fisher says they’ll add two more lanes on the north side of the highway. That portion of the roadway is part of the planned Cedar Rapids to Dubuque expressway.Gray-Fisher says the work on the Cascade to Dubuque stretch will be completed in 2003.The project will cost 27-million dollars.
