Northern Iowa athletic director Rick Hartzell says they hope to name a new softball coach early next month. U-N-I is looking to replace long-time coach Meredith Bakely who announced her retirement.Hartzell says they would like to have a new coach in place, soon to have someone in place by the time the fall semester starts.Hartzell believes the school will attract a quality coach.
