More tourney spots on the line in baseball

Spots in next week’s state high school softball tournament will be up for grabs tonight in class 2-A and 3-A with regional final action. In 2-A, 11th-ranked Grinnell hosts Mid-Prairie for the right to advance to Fort Dodge. Grinnell coach Jill Hulsing says her team is riding momentum after posting back-to-back shutouts to reach this point.Grinnell is 33-9 on the season but Hulsing says that record means little in a game of this magnitude.
