State’s largest bank offers on-line services

Iowa’s largest bank is trying to make it easier for its customers to access account information. Wells Fargo launched a new website today with the goal of providing customers, including mid-sized and large companies, with a wealth of financial services via the Internet.Scott Johnson, president and chief operating officer for Wells Fargo in Iowa, says this new type of website offers a comprehensive package of services for customers. It doesn’t require the user to clutter up their computer hard drives with all sorts of financial programs.As the Internet works to make people’s lives easier, there is always the looming spectre of hackers who will try to break into and thwart the system. Johnson says the bank’s new website is safe and solid.For more information, log on to “www.wellsfargo.com”.
