Boy hurt while trying to make fireworks

A Glenwood boy is in critical condition today after an explosion outside his home. Hills County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Mercer says the explosion was caused by a mixture of chemicals.The four boys were making fireworks when the mixture exploded. Hills says the critically injured boy is believed to be around 10-years old.One other boy had minor injuries. Hills says it was simply an accident.
