Mix a train and a truck and get an ice cream split

A moving train made an ice cream split out of a truck loaded with the frozen food in a collision in Le Mars Thursday. Edward McCamley of Sioux City saw the accident happen. He says the driver stopped on the tracks, and then killed the engine as he tried to pull out when he saw the train coming.The driver of the semi, Kenneth Mordick of Havelock, was not injured. There was an estimated 90-thousand dollars damage to the truck and its load of ice cream.
