Agency shooting called a murder/suicide

Wappello County authorities have released more details on a shooting in Agency last night that left two people dead. The incident began with a 9-1-1 call around 10:15 p.m.The caller said they needed help as two people had been shot. Deputies found two people dead in the home, 73-year old Dean William Thoman and 67-year old JoAnn Elizabeth Thomann. Police say the two died of gunshot wounds from a .22 caliber handgun. They say it appears to be a murder-suicide. Police say one of the victims made a 9-1-1 call and say there was a one-page note left in the home. Authorities aren’t releasing any other details on who did the shooting or what the note said. Autopsies are being done on the bodies today to confirm that it was indeed a murder suicide.
