Freshmen will crack the lineup at ISU

Iowa State coach Dan McCarney says two of his prize recruits should see action this season. Running back Jermaine Billups out of Omaha and linebacker Tyson Smith from West Des Moines Dowling are both expected to see action on special teams.He says Billups will also play on special teams.McCarney says junior college transfer Lorenzo White has moved into the starting spot at right guard.Junior Mike McKnight and freshman Tony Yelk continue to battle for place kicking chores and McCarney says a decision will be made next week.
