August 21, 2000 By admin

Northern Iowa athletic director Rick Hartzell says the job has been tougher than expected but he is glad he came back to the state. Hartzell has completed his first year on the job after moving to Cedar Falls from Bucknell. Hartzell says he’s not up to speed with everything yet, and he’s still not caught up with everything in the UNI department.Last month U-N-I announced plans to construct a new on campus arena after a donation from Clark McLeod and Hartzell says that is one of several projects in the works.
