Students suspended for coloring hair

August 23, 2000 By admin

Two eastern Iowa high schoolers’ experiment with hair color landed them in hot water. Two Central City High School students showed up Monday with their hair dyed in wacky colors. The principal told ’em it was a violation of the school dress code. When 17-year-old Andy Palmer and 15-year-old Noah Taylor came back to school on Tuesday with brightly-colored hair, the principal suspended them. Palmer decided to shave his head and Taylor died his hair brown, so the two were admitted back to class yesterday afternoon.
