Hawkeyes hope to increase offense

August 24, 2000 By admin

The Iowa offense expects to be more potent during the upcoming season. Quarterback Scott Mullen started the final five games of the 1999 season and put up respectable numbers, throwing for more than 14-hundred yards and five touchdowns. Mullen says the experience gained last season will help this year. The return of receiver Kalill Hill will give Iowa more of a deep threat this season. Hill missed all of last season due to a suspension but feels sharp heading into the opener. He says he was able to work a lot on his technical skills while not playing.
