Body recovered near Davenport

Officials have found the Davenport man who drowned in the Mississippi River this weekend.Commercial fishermen spotted the Vietnamese man’s body at about 10:30 this morning near a Mississippi River island in southwest Davenport. The man’s name has not been released. Police say he was riding on a boat with several other Vietnamese men when he fell out sometime Saturday night. Witnesses say the boat was being driven in circles. The driver of the boat, 31-year old Cuong Tan Hgo, is charged with operating a boat while intoxicated.
