Iowa Ag Secretary has a beef with China

Iowa Agriculture Secretary Patty Judge is in northeast China on a trade mission with members of the Iowa Beef Industry. She says they’re trying to sell Iowa beef in a new territory. She says they’ve visited other parts of the country, but never before in the northern provinces.Judge says is an educational and sales trip, they’ll teach them how to use beef and hope to sell some too.Judge says getting a foot in the door with beef can lead to good things in the future for all Iowa products.Judge says they may or may not end up making a sale of beef on this trip.Judge and the others in her party will be in China throughout this week.
