Searchers look for lost boater on Mississippi

August 28, 2000 By admin

Rescue crews are back on the Mississippi River near Davenport today searching for a man who fell off the back of a boat Saturday. Witnesses say the man fell off the back of a boat that was going in circles. The others on the boat came to shore to get help. The driver of the boat, 31-year old Cuong Tan Hgo, is charged with suspicion of operating a boat while intoxicated. The men on the boat were all Vietnamese and police had to use and interpreter to find out what happened.
