Central volleyball faces pressure of win streak and three-peat

It won’t be a routine season opener for the Central College volleyball team on Friday. The Dutch will play Gustavus Adolphus as part of the Central Invitational and with a victory would set an all-time, all-divisions N-C-A-A record with a 60th consecutive victory. Coach Megan Clayberg has tried to downplay the importance of the match, but says it’s difficult.Clayberg says win or lose the season will just be starting and they cannot put too much emphasis on the first match.Clayberg says they feel good about their prospects for this season.Central is the two-time defending division-three national champion
