It is a new season and a new challenge for the Northwestern College football team. The Red Raiders were 5-4 a year ago and enter their first season in the new Great Plains Athletic Conference. Coach Orv Otten says the new league will provide even tougher competition.Northwestern opens with a non-conference game against Jamestown of North Dakota this week. Otten says the game will prepare them for a difficult stretch.Otten says they know very little about what Jamestown may show them.
