C-B man charged after chase

September 5, 2000 By admin

A Council Bluffs man is in custody following a robbery attempt in Clarinda and a high-speed chase through Page and Fremont Counties. 28-year-old Chad Vore is in custody after allegedly attempting to steal money from Clarinda’s “Super 8” Motel. Vore fled the motel parking lot and led police on a chase. He was stopped on Highway 2, west of Clarinda, when officers put out “stop sticks” to puncture the tires on his car. Cops say Vor ran on foot but was captured after a short chase. Police say charges of robbery and methamphetamine possession are pending.
