Girl burned in dispute over boyfriend

A 12-year-old Maquoketa girl is recovering after being doused with gasoline and set on fire. Amanda O’Meara has 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 25-percent of her body. Police Chief Bob Anderson says 12-year-old Lynette Bodenhofer and 15-year-old Tara Tallman set Amanda on fire Wednesday in front of her home.Chief Anderson say the dispute was over a boy.O’Meara is in fair condition at University Hospitals in Iowa City. The two girls each face a felony charge of willful injury.
