Cyclones look to keep two-game streak against Hawkeyes alive

Iowa State and Iowa are preparing for their 48th meeting Saturday at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. Iowa State coach Dan McCarney says despite Saturday’s loss to Western Michigan, the Hawkeyes are an improved team.McCarney is pleased with his team’s 2-0 start, he says it’s a better team than he had last year.After dropping 15-straight, the Cyclones have won the last two games in the series but McCarney says his team will have no trouble getting ready.In the first two games, the Cyclones have gotten some big plays out of the kicking game. McCarney says that needs to continue.
