Work on that massive natural gas pipeline that runs from northwest Canada to Chicago through Iowa is on-schedule to be complete in about a month. The 18-hundred-mile-long pipeline cuts through 11 northern and eastern Iowa counties. Jack Crawford, a vice president for Canada-based Alliance Pipeline Corporation says there will be many employment opportunities for people who live along the route. He says the pipeline should be running by October 30th.He says the company has gotten a lot of support from Iowans in order to finish the job on time.The pipeline is designed to deliver more than 37-million cubic meters of natural gas every day.
